Immunohistochemistry - Anti-RPS6 Mouse mAb [19H63K06]

Sample: Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded rat brain tissue

Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 30 mins.

Primary antibody: M900011 at 1:200 dilution

Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L), HRP conjugated at 1:1,000 dilution

DAB was used as the chromogen.

Counter stained with hematoxylin.

Positive/negative staining were presented.

Only the secondary antibody was used as the negative control.

Immunofluorescence - Anti-RPS6 Mouse mAb [19H63K06]

Sample: HepG2 cells

The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde (10 min), permeabilized with 0.5% Triton X-100 for 10 minutes and then blocked with 5% BSA in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 0.5 hours.

Primary antibody: M900011 at 1:100 dilution

Secondary antibodies: Goat anti-Mouse (555) at 1:500 dilution (shown in green)

Nuclei were stained with DAPI (shown in blue).

During the assembly of the SSU processome in the nucleolus, many ribosome biogenesis factors, an RNA chaperone and ribosomal proteins associate with the nascent pre-rRNA and work in concert to generate RNA folding, modifications, rearrangements and cleavage as well as targeted degradation of pre-ribosomal RNA by the RNA exosome (PubMed:34516797).
